Today is National Cousins Day! So let this be your reminder to call that cousin who you used to be close to but haven’t talked to in a while, even though you think about it regularly and kinda feel guilty about it… or is that just me?

Lake Norman will soon have another beach for residents and tourists to enjoy. Construction on Denver’s Beatty’s Ford Park beach is scheduled to be completed in Fall 2024.
Both regulators and the public have just learned that boat rentals are exempt from the Lake Norman Marine Commission’s new regulations and laws designed to increase the safety on Lake Norman.
Mooresville’s Mayor says that there is no way to stop the pace at which the Mooresville area is growing, but there are ways to slow it down.
Duke Energy is ahead of the schedule set by state law to remove all coal ash from an unlined basin at the Marshall Steam Station.
