Happy Memorial Day! I know I am a little late to wish you a happy holiday, but I’m not too late to hope that your shortened work week is going smoothly.
Memorial Day is the official start of boating season on Lake Norman, and local authorities have been training and gearing up for this year’s summer boating season. Just this weekend, Lincoln County Sheriff’s lake patrol unit saved one man from drowning.
So while you are out on the water this summer and having a great time, please be kind, respectful, and show support for the officers who are trying to keep our waters (and each of us) safe.
