April 12. Huntersville will break ground on a new Town Hall at 3 pm. It will be completed by late next year, and cost $29,997,055.
The new 54,000 square foot structure is on NC 115, just north of the current Town Hall.

Background
The new Town Hall will have double the size of council chambers as well as more room for staff. The existing town hall structure will be used by Parks & Recreation for programming and meeting space.
According to the US Census, Huntersville’s population has grown from 46,000 in 2010 to more than 63,000 in 2022.
